The school holds Open Evenings in September for parents and girls in Year 6 who are interested in entering the school for their secondary education. Please look in the local press for dates and times.
Pupils in Year 6 wishing to come to the school sit an 11+ examination consisting of two Verbal Reasoning Tests. Those girls wishing to join the school after Year 7 complete an assessment held in the school which includes written tests in English and Mathematics and a Verbal Reasoning Test.
For entry into the Sixth Form please contact the school for further details and an application form. All students wishing to enter the Sixth Form must achieve 5 GCSEs at grade B or above with Mathematics and English at minimun of grade C. Students should have GCSEs at grade B in the subjects to be taken at Advanced Level. All applicants to the Sixth Form are interviewed by the Head or Deputy Headteacher.
A Sixth Form Open Evening is held in December. Heads of Department are present to give details of courses and there is an opportunity to meet students in the Sixth Form and look around the school. Please contact the school for the date and time.
The school welcomes new students and supports their entry and first few weeks in the school.
